Summer Internships
The summer of 2010 was the third year the Lakota Journey supported summer interns on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Indian Reservations. The seven interns spent two months actively involved in ministries on the reservations. The goal of the summer internship is for college-age Christians, previously involved in the Lakota Journey, prepare for the Lakota Journey in June, to become apart of the communities on the reservations, to further develop relationships and to support pastors, churches and those committed to permanent ministry on the reservations.
The 2010 interns came from a variety of places around the nation. Five were from Minneapolis/ St. Paul, MN: Dalen Robilard, Jackie Ellis, Kelly Maas, Greg Finley & Bethany Mann. Summer Brooks from Fort Worth area Texas & Casey Smith from Iowa .
